PEMAKARA Berhad is a Malaysian non-sectarian, non-profit charitable organization established in 2003 to propagate charitable works.

The name “Pemakara” (meaning the essence of the Lotus-Born Guru) was specially bestowed by Kyabje Chokling Rinpoche, son of the late Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche and more importantly, the authentic 4th reincarnation of the renowned 19th century terton, Terchen Chokgyur Lingpa.

Under the precious guidance of Phakchok Rinpoche, eldest son of Kyabje Chokling Rinpoche and an important lama in his own right within the Taklung-Kagyu lineage, Pemakara’s mission is to provide support to the following principal aims:

§  Charitable events for the benefit of all sentient beings

§  Practices and activities that promote the individual development genuine wisdom and compassion

§   Publication and printing of Dharma books, photographs and articles for free distribution

§  To provide an avenue for people to practice charity and compassion in a practical and meaningful way
